THE PART NO ONE TALKS ABOUT
You’re the one people bring things to.
Your team brings you their hardest moments. Leaders ask what you think. You’re expected to be steady, clear, and usually right.
But some situations don’t have an obvious answer. A relationship with a key stakeholder that’s gotten complicated. Feedback you’re still turning over. A conversation you can’t afford to get wrong. And not every one of them is easy to talk through inside your organization, even when the people around you are good at what they do.
Sometimes the person you’d usually think out loud with is part of the situation. Sometimes you just want a view from someone with no stake in the outcome.
Sometimes you don’t need another training. You need someone experienced to help you think.
WHAT IT IS
An experienced outside perspective, when you need it.
Strategic HR Advisory gives you private time with someone who understands HR, leadership, and how organizations actually work. You bring what’s in front of you. I listen, ask the questions that help you see it clearly, point out what you might be missing, and help you decide how you want to move forward.
Confidential and one-on-one
Just you and me, by video or phone. What you share stays between us.
Built around your situation
No curriculum, no modules, no homework. Each session starts with whatever you need to work through.
Used when things come up
With a 3- or 6-month option, you book sessions when situations arise, not on a fixed monthly schedule.
This works alongside your organization’s HR, legal, and employee resources. It’s an additional place to think, not a replacement for them.
WHAT YOU CAN BRING
Real situations, worked through out loud.
If it’s on your mind at work and it matters, it’s fair game. A few examples of what people bring:
A DIFFICULT CONVERSATION
“I’m meeting with my CEO on Thursday. I need to get the opening right and be ready for the pushback.”
FEEDBACK
“Something in my review surprised me. I want to understand it before I respond.”
STAKEHOLDERS
“Two of my peers want different things from my team, and I’m caught in the middle.”
A NEW SENIOR ROLE
“I’m three months into this role and still reading the room. Who do I need to build trust with first?”
COMMUNICATING A DECISION
“We’ve made a call people won’t like. I need to think through how and when to share it.”
A DEBRIEF
“Yesterday’s meeting went sideways. What, if anything, should I do now?”
YOUR BOSS
“My relationship with my new manager feels off, and I can’t tell why.”
DOCUMENTATION
“Should I be writing this conversation down? And if so, how?”
CHANGE
“We’re reorganizing, and I’m leading people through something I don’t fully have answers to yet.”

Strategic HR Advisory is HR and leadership advisory guidance. It is not legal advice and does not create an attorney-client relationship.
WHY LATISHA
I’ve been in the room for these conversations.
I’ve spent more than 20 years in HR, and today I lead both the HR/People and legal functions at the executive level. I’ve advised senior leaders through sensitive employee relations matters, organizational change, and high-stakes people decisions. I know how these situations tend to unfold, and where they tend to go wrong.
I’m also an attorney. That training shapes how I think: I spot issues early, ask precise questions, and look at a situation from more than one side. In Strategic HR Advisory, though, what you get is my HR and leadership judgment. It isn’t legal advice or legal representation.
I’m practical and candid. I’ll get to the heart of a situation quickly, and if I see something you might be missing, I’ll tell you. Respectfully, and plainly.

IS THIS A FIT?
Who this is for, and who it isn’t.
This is for you if
- You’re a senior HR professional or HR leader who carries everyone else’s issues and has few places to take your own.
- You’re a people leader, senior manager, director, or executive in any function.
- You’re new to a senior role and want an experienced sounding board while you find your footing.
- You’re working in a complex organization and want to think before you act.
- You value a candid, practical perspective over encouragement for its own sake.
- You want someone to think with, and you still want to make your own decisions.
This isn’t the right fit if
- You need legal advice or representation, including if you’re considering a legal claim. An employment attorney who represents you is the right call.
- You’re looking for therapy or mental health support.
- You want a course, a curriculum, or a structured program.
- You need on-call, unlimited, or crisis support.
- You want someone to step in or contact your employer on your behalf.
- You’re looking for HR consulting for your organization. That’s a different service, and I’m happy to talk about it.
